Many thanks to all competitors that have entered the 60th Liffey Descent.
We will be publishing the final start list including your bib number in the morning.
Registration & bib collection will take place on Friday evening in the Garda Boat Club, Islandbridge from 4pm – 9pm.
All competitors are requested to please bring their Buoyancy Aid/PFD to registration so the timing/tracking devices can be fitted correctly in preparation for Saturday morning.
Please note there will be no collections on Saturday morning in the K Club, Straffan, as a result if you are unable to make Friday evening it is the competitors responsibility to make an alternative arrangement for collection.
If you intend camping and have not yet filled out the booking form please do so here: http://bit.ly/2kCWz6D
The bus departure times are 09.00 and 09.30 from Islandbridge to Straffan on Saturday morning. The second bus has limited seating so pease endeavour to make the early bus shuttle. The bus transfer can take 30 – 40 mins traffic dependant. Please ensure you have allowed sufficient time to clear scrutineering and boat disinfection.
We will have a mandatory bio security wash station in place for all boats taking part in the race. We would also ask competitors as responsible river users to take a second precaution prior to travelling to the race site and ensure all equipment is washed thoroughly and dried 48 hours before competing.
